We have moved!
Shortly before Christmas break 2025, we moved into our new premises at Kanaalstraat 19, 7553 GP Hengelo, the Netherlands.
After many years of carrying out operations at several locations, Zitron Nederland now has a workshop with a floor area of 2,500 m² and 900 m² of offices. All this on a plot of almost 6000 m².
Our workshop is divided into 3 parts:
The hall for assembly of our large tunnel fans.
This hall has a crane installation with a capacity of 2 x 16 tonnes.
Besides the assembly of our own new, axial tunnel fans, we also carry out overhauls of existing tunnel fans, manufactured by ourselves or by third parties, in this hall. All installed tunnel fans up to a diameter of over 4.5 m and a weight of up to 25 tonnes can be easily overhauled by Zitron Nederland in its own workshop.
The assembly hall for jet fans and pressurization fans.
We assemble jet fans and pressurization fans in this hall. The rotors of all our fans are also balanced here. For efficient handling, a 2 x 5-tonne cranes facility is installed in the hall.
The laboratory for testing and storage of jet fans
Zitron Nederland is able to demonstrate the aerodynamic and acoustic performance of all jet fans for longitudinal ventilation of tunnels in its own test hall according to the ISO 13350 standard, up to a maximum power of 90 kW.
Before jet fans are installed in the tunnel by our team using the special assembly truck, all fans undergo trial operation at full power. This avoids unpleasant surprises during tunnel installation.
In the test hall, we also facilitate storage of spare jet fans. Through storage in a conditioned room and regular checks, we can offer tunnel operators a fast deployment of spare jet fans.
