A tunnel ventilation system is a safety system. It is important that the fans and the ventilation system function as designed and agreed. Zitron Nederland has the knowledge, measuring equipment and experience to measure the performance of tunnel fans on the test bench and the ventilation system in tunnels in accordance with international standards. Our specialized personnel can carry out for you:

  • Factory acceptance tests according to ISO 13350 on jet and axial fans up to 90 kW in our measurement facility in Hengelo, the Netherlands.
  • Factory acceptance tests according to AMCA 210-99 and ISO 5801 on axial fans up to 1600 kW in our test facility in Gijón, Spain.
  • Durability tests on jet fans and axial fans.
  • Longitudinal air speed measurements according to ISO 5802 in the tunnel tube
  • Volume flow and leakage measurements in exhaust ducts and shafts according to ISO 5802
